Insurances Accepted:

It depends on your insurance and the type of coverage you have as to the coverage of  your services at Gastroenterology Associates of Ithaca.  You should contact your insurance plan to determine what co-pays and/or deductibles you have for office visits to a specialist or endoscopic procedures. 

For patients who are scheduled for Screening Colonoscopies:  Please be advised that if we find a polyp or other condition and need to remove or biopsy your colon this is no longer considered a Screening Colonoscopy and may effect the way your insurance covers your procedure.  Please check with your insurance carrier for coverage for both a Screening and Diagnostic Colonoscopy.

If you have an appointment with our Nurse Practitioner, she is considered a specialist as well.  In general, the major health plans we accept include:

There are other commercial insurance carriers that could be included under contracts we have with Third Party Administrators.  If you do not see your carrier on this list, you can call your insurance company and ask them if they are contracted with Gastroenterology Associates of Ithaca or our physicians.
